Sharks head coach Sean Everitt has penned a new deal with the union which will see him hold his current position until 2024.
Everitt has been a loyal servant to the Sharks in a journey that began back in 2008. He did great work with the age-group sides before being named assistant coach in 2017. He became head coach of the Currie Cup side in 2019 and took the reins of the Super Rugby team last year – a campaign which was aborted due to Covid-19 but which saw the Sharks finish top of the log.
“We are delighted to announce that our much-respected head coach, Sean Everitt, has extended his contract until 2024,” the Sharks announced on Twitter.
“This is fantastic news that will ensure continuity in our coaching ranks.”
