After 29 appearances for the Quins, hooker Scott Baldwin is set to join Worcester Warriors ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Quins’ General Manager Billy Millard said: “I’d like to thank Balders’ immense efforts over the last two seasons. Scott has given nothing less than his best on the pitch and in training; and has provided invaluable mentorship to the three young hookers in our senior Academy.
“We look forward to seeing Scott finish out the rest of the season for us within a talented playing group and wish him well with his move to Worcester.”
Baldwin is sad that his time at The Stoop has come to an end but feels it is the right move at this point in his career.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their friendship and support during the last two years at Harlequins. I’ve enjoyed a new lease of life playing at The Stoop. The fans have been fantastic, and hugely supportive.
“One thing I’ve loved about this Club has been the fact that, while results are what matters most, playing for Quins means playing a good brand of rugby.
“It was a tough decision leaving, because I’ve loved my time here, but family comes first and the move to Worcester was the right step for us as we relocate back to Wales. I wanted to remain in the Premiership while moving back home and Worcester is a great place for me to do that and I’m looking forward to my time with the Warriors.
“While I am looking forward to my next chapter, I feel energised and motivated to help push Harlequins as far we can go this season. We have a fantastic squad full of talent, and I know we have the ability to play winning rugby while entertaining at the same time.”
