Schonert joined Warriors from Pro-14 side Cheetahs in the summer of 2014 and has since become one of the top tighthead props in the Premiership, and has regularly been involved in England training squads.
The 28-year-old’s existing contract was to expire at the end of the current season.
Although Schonert missed most of the first two months of the season having sustained a medial knee ligament injury in the Premiership Rugby Cup match at Bath in September, he returned to action as a replacement in the Challenge Cup match in Castres two weeks ago and started in last weekend’s Premiership win over Sale Sharks.
