Samoa have finalised their squad for the Rugby World Cup, to be captained by Ofisa Treviranus of London Irish.
Newcastle’s Alesana Tuilagi has been named vice-captain in a group that includes Chiefs back Tim Nanai-Williams and Hurricanes hooker Motu Matu’u.
"This has been an incredibly difficult selection process. We have had to leave behind some excellent players.” said coach Stephen Betham.
"We cannot take everyone, and there is comfort in knowing that we have depth should we need to call on it.
"We are pleased for the locally based players as this selection rewards their hard work, determination and focus.
"We've had some challenges with injuries ruling out valuable players such as James Johnston, Pele Cowley & David Lemi.
"Congratulations to all players who have been selected – I know they will represent our country with much pride and dignity."
