Munster came away with a convincing victory here today trumping their visitors, Connacht, by 7 tries to 2. They got off to a flying start, scoring 3 tries in the first half through Earls, O'Donoghue and Conway and going in 24-0 up at HT as a result.
They built on that performance in the second half, going over through Cronin, Saili, Oliver and Conway again. Connacht did manage to get over twice for a couple of consolations scores through Kelleher and Dawai.
Munster will take this good form into the knockout phase of the competition against Ospreys in a couple of weeks. Connacht end a disappointing season with a disappointing result and will be looking to get back to winning ways after the summer break.
