Round 17 Pro12 Highlights: Cardiff Blues v Munster Rugby
- 651
Munster ground out a win here tonight against a Blues side which went in at the break 6-3 up. Cardiff widened their lead early in the second period when Summerhill picked off Scannell's speculative pass to run away to score. Francis Saili hit back with a great solo effort when he left Matthew Morgan for dead with a lovely left foot step. The Irish side left it late and only entered the lead for the first time when Rory Scannell dropped one over from outside the 22 in the final five minutes. Conor Oliver put some gloss on the result a minute later when he went over for an opportunistic five-pointer. A good win for Munster which moves them into 2nd place in the table for at least a couple of hours, before Leinster play tonight.
