Reports from France suggest that Heyneke Meyer has identified six players that he would like to sign ahead of his debut season in charge of the Paris-based club.
Midi Olympique has reported that Gael Fickou met with Meyer earlier last week. Fickou was linked with Racing 92 but they were put off by the €800 000 release they would have to pay to get him out of the final year of his contract.
Up front, Yoann Maestri is reportedly having second thoughts about his contract extension with La Rochelle following the sudden departure of Patrice Collazo. Dave Attwood is another player being linked with the club after a successful stint as a medical joker at Toulon.
Two scrumhalves have also been linked with the club with Piet van Zyl is reportedly on the brink on signing a deal with the club.
The other scrumhalf being linked with the club is Bordeaux's Baptiste Serin but according to James Harrington Stade Francais will need permission to hold contract talks with the player.
LNR rules state that clubs cannot approach players directly until they're in the final year of their contracts. New deals officially begin on July 1, so we could be about to enter a new #Top14 arms race. Won't that be fun?

The final player being linked with the club according to an earlier report by Midi Olympique is Jaguares and Los Pumas playmaker Nicolas Sanchez.
The rumour has resurfaced after the player admitted that he hasn't decided on his future yet.
