PRO14 Semi-Final Highlights: Glasgow v Scarlets

Scarlets brought their trademark attacking brand of rugby to Scotstoun this evening and thoroughly deserved their 13-28 victory. Man of the Match Rhys Patchell opened the scoring inside three minutes, showing great speed to get on the outside shoulder of Nick Grigg and score under the posts. Glasgow looked rattled in the early stages of the game and when Gareth Davies scored to make the scoreline 3-14, it was always going to be an uphill battle for the hosts. Prop Rob Evans also managed to cross the whitewash and at the interval, the scoreboard read 3-21 in favour of Scarlets. The visitors drew first blood in the second half when Ken Owens bundled his way over on the back of a rolling maul but credit to Glasgow for playing until the final whistle and this yielded tries from Jonny Gray and Nick Grigg late in the day.
