PRO14 Round 14 Highlights: Leinster Rugby v Scarlets

Leinster continued their winning ways as they edged the Scarlets 22-17 in a home round 14 Pro14 clash. It took until the 30th minute for the first points of the match as Leinster kicked a penalty for a 3-0 lead. The hosts then crossed for the games first try with the final play of the first half to take a 10-0 lead into the break. The Scarlets thought they had scored a try at the start of the second half, but the ball was lost forward in the grounding. It was the visitors who would strike first in the second half, with a try reducing the deficit to 10-7. A Scarlets penalty then leveled the score at 10-10 heading into the final quarter. Two Leinster tries in quick succession saw the hosts take control at 22-10 with a little under ten minutes remaining. However, the Scarlets hit back immediately with their second try to trail by just five points with around five minutes to play. The come back was not to be however, as Leinster held on for their 12th victory in 14 Pro14 matches.
