With most of the Northern hemisphere's Summer Internationals now over, we take a look ahead to the upcoming season – namely transfers and the new players who will be trying to make an impact for their clubs both domestically and in the new Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup campaigns.
So here are just some of theURC transfers ahead of the new season:
Premiership Transfers
Perhaps the biggest Premiership signing so far is Fijian captain Waisea Nayacalevu, who joins Sale Sharks from RC Toulon in a major boost to their squad.
Wing Christian Wade returns to England from Racing 92, joining Gloucester Rugby.
Ross Molony has left Leinster Rugby to reinforce the Bath Rugby pack, while Bristol Bears have added Fijian international No.8 Vilaime Mata. Two internationals will also join Leicester Tigers, who add Ospreys prop Nicky Smith and Australian centre Izaia Perese.
The 24-year-old fly-half Fergus Burke has joined Saracens from Crusaders as they look to adapt to the post-Farrell era.
