Worcester v Harlequins:

The third match of the round sees Worcester Warriors hosting Harlequins at Sixways Stadium – the first of Wednesday’s four clashes.

Both Worcester and Quins were on the losing side of the scoreboard in Round 15, against Wasps and Saracens respectively, a defect both teams will be hungry to reverse.

When the final whistle sounded in Round 4, the score read 19-14 in Worcester’s favour after a tough battle at The Stoop.

Owing to the cold and wet conditions in South London that night, the ball was given a fair amount of air, however, Warriors looked dangerous when they ran the ball, putting together a quality score in the corner to take the lead in the closing stages.

Quins are currently in seventh spot on the log while Worcester occupy tenth.

Worcester Warriors

Lock Anton Bresler will make his 50th appearance for Warriors in Wednesday’s Premiership match against Harlequins.

Bresler, 32, joined Warriors from Edinburgh in December 2017 having previously played for Sharks in South Africa’s Currie Cup and in Super Rugby.

Bresler will line up against Harlequins in a side that shows ten changes to the one that faced Wasps last Friday.

Chris Pennell, Francois Venter Noah Heward, Duncan Weir and Cornell du Preez all start again with the other ten players having played against Gloucester when the 2019/20 season resumed ten days ago.

Matt Kvesic switches to the openside flank having started at number eight against Gloucester.

Club Captain Ted Hill returns to lead the side in the continued absence injured Team Captain Matt Moulds.
