The Australian winger was the standout performer in his side's narrow margin defeat of Sale Sharks in tonight's Aviva Premiership action. He made 2 clean breaks for a total of 68 metres gained, beating 3 defenders and managing to score the game's only try. He was also impressive at the breakdown, consistently slowing down Sale's attacking play and forcing two vital turnovers.
George Horne
Horne was the main orchestrator of the Glasgow attack in their massive 43-13 win over the Southern Kings. Horne kept himself busy all night and managed to jink his way to a try. He made one noticeable clean break that gained his side a whopping 51 meters, at just 22 Horne is really making a name for himself.
Jarad Butler
A scintillating 80 minutes by Butler earned the openside flanker Man of the Match. Butler provided a solid platform for his side in the lineout, securing the key throw that resulted in Farrell's game winning try. When called upon in attack, the flanker was as solid as ever, making 41 metres from 8 carries, beating 2 defenders in the process. In a game that was decided by defense, Butler was a vital player, maintaining a 100% tackle success rate.
