England
1. Mako Vunipola - 7/10
17 tackles from Mako in a 76 minute shift for England today, great stats for a prop. Was solid in the scrum too. Fantastic work rate.
2. Dylan Hartley - 4/10
It looked like the captain was going to have a short day at the office today as he left the field with a head injury after less than a minute. He did return but failed to make a significant impact on the game yet again. 4 tackles and 4m from 4 carries is a lot less than most teams would ask for from their leader. Jamie George made 6 more tackles than him despite being on the field for less time.
3. Dan Cole - 5/10
A stalwart in the English pack due to his decent scrummaging but needless penalties could really be problematic for England against stronger side. The tighthead is guaranteed to give away a couple of them per game, as he did today. He also had a couple of handling errors and made no metres in attack. His 8 tackles saved him from a very sub-par performance.
4. Joe Launchbury - 8/10

Put in an immense shift wracking up 17 tackles. Setup Jonny May's second try with a quality offload. His work rate was outstanding around the park, wracking up over 500 metres in an England shirt.
5. Maro Itoje - 6/10
The Lions second row had an average game for the home side. He made 18m from his 9 runs and was extremely disruptive of the Welsh maul. He made 7 tackles which is less than usual so he will look to improve upon that against Scotland in 2 weeks.
6. Courtney Lawes - 6/10
A good defensive performance by the blindside helped his side to shut down the Welsh attack. He made a total of 13 tackles and looked to strike fear into Rhys Patchell as he sought out a big hit on the young out-half.
7. Chris Robshaw - 7/10
A good performance from the former England captain. He carried more often than usual, making 22m from 13 carries as he deputised at 8 for Sam Simmonds. He made a massive 16 tackles to help his side to the victory.
8. Sam Simmonds - 6/10
Came off at half time in what will be a worry for England after a good 1st half effort.
9. Danny Care - 6/10
Quiet day at the office as he became England's most capped scrum-half. His box kicks setup England well in the first half. A proud day for him at HQ.
10. George Ford - 7/10
Kicked well using the high ball which lead to England dominating the first half. Linked up well with the backline.
11. Jonny May - 8/10
His tries are the difference for England as he showed once more his fantastic finishing ability. Grabbed his first tries in the 6 Nations and his kick chase was brilliant.
12. Owen Farrell - 8/10
Was his usual self, controlling the game excellently especially utilising the high ball. Showed great awareness to grubber through and setup Jonny May's 1st try. Also contributed with a nice looping pass in the build up to setup May's 2nd.
13. Jonathan Joseph - 6/10
Didn't see much ball but managed to make a nice break and show off his feet. Beat 2 defenders but Wales' defence was strong.
14. Anthony Watson - 6/10
Quiet day at the office. Did well under the high ball but came off with injury after 45 minutes which will be a worry for Eddie Jones.
15. Mike Brown - 8/10
Chased the high ball well and defended superb. One of his best performances in an England shirt for some time.
Wales
1. Rob Evans – 5/10
Very quiet afternoon for the loosehead. Consistently solid at scrum time but was unable to make a positive impression on the game. Worked hard in defence.

2. Ken Owens – 6/10
Accurate at the lineout, consistently hitting his target. He failed to make an impression with ball in hand but got through an impressive amount of work at the breakdown.

3. Samson Lee – 5/10
Solid at scrum time. Never really got a chance to offer anything in attack and was guilty of a couple of missed tackled around the park.

4. Cory Hill – 5/10
Very quiet afternoon from the second row. He was unable to make any impression with ball in hand but provided a great option at the lineout.

5. Alun-Wyn Jones – 6/10
One of the better performers in the Welsh pack today. Consistently got up well to win the ball at the lineout but failed to get over the gainline when carrying. Solid defensively.
6. Aaron Shingler – 7/10
The standout performer in the Welsh front 8. Got through a huge amount of behind the scenes work at the breakdown. He also showed flashes of attacking brilliance, carrying 16 times for a total of 56 metres.

7. Josh Navidi – 6/10
Much quieter performance from the flanker this weekend compared to his brilliant showing against Scotland. Failed to get over the gainline but stood up to the test defensively, making 19 tackles and missing none.

8. Ross Moriarty – 6/10
An integral part of a solid Welsh back row. He was dogged in defence, making 16 tackles and missing none. He also secured a vital turnover but only managed to gain 18 metres with ball in hand.

9. Gareth Davies – 6/10
Marshalled his backline well but was unable to launch any really dangerous attacks due to the huge number of handling errors throughout the team. His box kicks were consistently over hit, handing cheap possession to the England back three time and time again.
10. Rhys Patchell – 4/10
A nervy performance from the outhalf. Didn’t look confident at any stage with ball in hand and went missing in defence at times. It looks like Eddie Jones may have got to him after all.
11. Steff Evans - 5/10
Evans had some nice attacking runs but made just four tackles out of a possible 7, a quiet day at the office.
12. Hadleigh Parkes - 6/10
Parkes had a solid game acting as a distributor and he totalled 16 passes. Parkes beat a total of 6 defenders today but failed to make a huge amount of yardage.
13. Scott Williams - 5/10
Williams will be kicking himself when he watches the replay of today’s game. He butchered Wales’s most promising opportunity to score a try.
14. Josh Adams - 5/10
Adams failed to make a huge impact on the game and despite making one clean break he lacked the attacking flair needed to topple a quality England side.
15. Gareth Anscombe - 7/10
A lot was asked of Anscombe today and although he gave a solid performance with a total of 107 meters made from a whopping 18 runs.
