While Snyman is known for making big carries and freeing his long arms to make offloads, the lock forward also had an immense impact in the lesser celebrated aspects of rugby such as his rucking, line out ability and scrummaging.
Munster dominated the scrums putting Ospreys under pressure on their feed and managed to win a couple of crucial penalties. The power coming through from the 117kg frame cannot be underestimated as he plays a pivotal role in providing support to the front row.
The lock forward had high workrate in one of the key jobs of a tight five player in their ability to clean and secure breakdowns. Snyman made a strong impact in the 56th minute after making a dominant carry and getting the offload away, he displayed high workrate to get up immediately off the deck and clean a carry that almost got held up. Munster put together some phases in the 22m before knocking the ball on. They hit back with a penalty at the scrum and Crowley extended the lead with a penalty kick.
