The Munster captain was outstanding tonight in Cork for the Irish province. He dominated the battle at the breakdown and put in a massive shift to secure the bonus point win. O’ Mahony work in the lineout on both sides of the ball is up there with the best in the business. He made 8 carries for a gain of 13 metres and made his mark on defense with 11 dominant tackles.
Chris Farrell
The physical outside centre was rewarded with a try for his efforts on the night after another dominant carrying performance. Farrell regular busts over the gainline helped Munster harness quick tuck ball which they used to full effect as they ran in a rake of tries. He barrelled over from close range early on and his performance laid the platform for the Munster bonus point victory.
Arno Botha
The rangy back rower was standing in for CJ Stander at the base of the scrum and enhanced his growing reputation with Munster. A summer signing from London Irish, Botha has quickly settled into life in the red shirt and has impressed in recent months with his physical attributes. Botha carried for a gain of 41 metres, beat four defenders and tackled with accuracy.
