Irish heavyweights Munster are set to gain the services of former All Black and current Wasps centre Malakai Fekitoa.
It has been rumoured that the 29 year-old Fekitoa has been looking for a change from Wasps for some time, though his next destination has hitherto been unclear.
Fekitoa boasts 24 All Black caps but recently changed allegiance to Tonga.
Comfortable at both 12 and 13, his skill, power and versatility have rendered him a great asset in the backline and Munster will benefit greatly from what he brings to the table.
“He is always someone you’re going to want to keep at the club,” Wasps boss Lee Blackett said.
“Our big focus with Mala at the moment is just making sure we get him back from injury, back on the field as soon as we can.”
