Ahead of the second leg of the round of 16 in the Champions Cup, we round up the injury updates from Leinster, Munster, and Ulster.
LEINSTER RUGBY
It’s all positive news this week for Leinster head coach Leo Cullen as there are no fresh injuries to report following the first leg win at The Sportsground on Saturday.
In addition, all of Andrew Porter, Rónan Kelleher, Jordan Larmour and Michael Milne have all recovered from their respective injuries and will train as normal this week.
Porter and Kelleher have been absent since picking up knocks during the Six Nations while Larmour suffered a hip injury in the win over Benetton Rugby at the beginning of March.
Prop Milne is yet to make an appearance in this campaign and will be a welcome addition as the squad prepare for a busy window of action.
There are no further updates on:
Dave Kearney (hamstring), Will Connors (knee), James Ryan (concussion) and Ryan Baird (back)
MUNSTER RUGBY
Alex Kendellen was removed after 28 minutes of the game against Exeter on Saturday after failing a HIA.
Kendellen will begin the return to play protocols under the supervision of the medical department and his availability will be determined later in the week.
Jack O’Sullivan, who replaced Kendellen, sustained a knee injury during the game and will go for a scaN.
Joey Carbery (leg/knee) and Peter O’Mahony (hamstring) will both return to training and their availability will be determined later in the week.
Simon Zebo and Diarmuid Barron have both recovered from illness and will return to training today.
Continuing to rehab: Gavin Coombes (ankle), Dave Kilcoyne (neck), Tadhg Beirne (thigh), Andrew Conway (knee), James French (knee), RG Snyman (knee).
ULSTER RUGBY
Ben Moxham sustained a concussion early in the Round of 16 first leg Heineken Champions Cup game against Toulouse at Stadium de Toulouse, and will now follow the Return to Play protocols.
Tom Stewart suffered a hamstring injury in training last week, and is unavailable for selection. He joins Will Addison (lower leg), Jacob Stockdale (ankle), Jack McGrath (hip), and Greg Jones (thumb) on the current injured list.
