Montpelier raid Super Rugby for signings

Jake White oversaw 19 departures from Montpellier earlier this week and the former South Africa boss has now made his mark with the club’s recruitment for next season.
Eleven players will link up with Montpellier for the 2015/2016 campaign, with only two of the new signings being eligible for France.
Julien Malzieu and Marvin O’Connor are joining from Clermont and Bayonne but otherwise there are six South Africans and two Australians heading to link up with White, plus the Fijian back Seveci Nakailagi.
Schalk van der Merwe (Lions), Paul Willemse (Grenoble), Jacques du Plessis, Willem Liebenberg (both Bulls), Cameron White (Sharks) and Demetri Catrakilis (Stormers) have all been signed up, along with two of White’s former charges from the Brumbies in Nic White and Jesse Mogg.
White replaced Fabien Galthié earlier this season but the club missed out on the Top 14 play-off places by seven points, having won only 11 of their 26 matches.
