Six Nations: Team Of The Week Round One
Wales and France got things underway on Friday evening with Wales continuing their impressive run of victories that extended to 10 games. The win also saw Wales notch up their 50th win over France and their seventh in their last eight meetings.
The action continued on Saturday when Scotland claimed an impressive 33-20 win over Italy go top of the Six Nations table, while England ended Ireland's 12 game winning streak at Aviva Stadium, defeating the reigning Six Nations' champions 20-32. See our Team of the Week here
England Women secure bonus-point win in Ireland
England sent out an early message to their Women's Six Nations rivals by beating Ireland 51-7 at Donnybrook. Katy Daley-Mclean notched 16 points as last year's runners-up got their campaign up and running in fine style.
Italy also secured a bonus-point win, beating Scotland 28-7 at Scotstoun. The visitors ran in three scores in the second to seal the extra point and put gloss on the scoreboard.
Major League Rugby Round-Up: Gameweek 2
Game week two in Major League Rugby saw three matches take place and the standout no doubt being New Orleans Gold against the Glendale Raptors.
NOLA sent a message to the rest of their competition as they stunned the 2018 finalists, Raptors, 40-31 at Gold Stadium, while last year’s champions the Seattle Seawolves went down 17-13 against the San Diego Legion. Read more
2019 Americas Rugby Championship Round-Up
The 2019 Americas Rugby Championship kicked off its fourth series on Saturday, with all the Uruguay providing the only shock in week 1.
The opening round saw three fixtures take place and it was Uruguay that stunned the Canadians 20-17 at the Estadio Charrúa after being 17- 8 behind at the break. Full story
