Henry Speight commits to Australian Rugby until the end of 2019
Wallabies and Brumbies winger Henry Speight has signed a new deal with Rugby Australia and the Brumbies until the end of 2019.
The 19-Test star has put to paper on a one-year extension to see him remain on Australian soil until at least the end of the Rugby World Cup in Japan. Full story

The Wallabies' hunt for a forwards coach is over, with former Fiji international Simon Raiwalui named to take on the task through to the end of 2019. Full story
Sonny Bill Williams ruled out for six weeks
The Blues have confirmed that Sonny Bill Williams has suffered a fractured wrist in their most recent defeat, 37-20 to the Stormers in Cape Town, and would miss between six and eight weeks of the competition.
The injury will also leave Williams short on lead-in time ahead of the All Blacks' June international series against France. Full story
Whitelock and Crotty cleared to tour SA and Argentina
Ryan Crotty and Sam Whitelock have been cleared to travel with the Crusaders to South Africa and Argentina.
Crusaders coach Scott Robertson replaced midfielder Crotty and lock Whitelock in the latter stages of their 33-14 bonus-point win over the Bulls in Christchurch last Friday night, but any fears the two All Blacks wouldn't be fit to travel offshore were allayed after they were named in the 27-man touring squad. Sharks flanker Jacques Vermeulen suspended for 2 weeks
The SANZAAR Foul Play Review Committee has accepted a guilty plea from Jacques Vermeulen of the Sharks for contravening Law 9.20 - dangerous play in a ruck or maul -after he was Cited during a Super Rugby Match at the Weekend.
Vermeulen has been suspended from all forms of the game for 2 weeks, up to and including Friday 6 April 2018. Full story
Adam Jones Calls Time On Playing Career
Harlequins have announced that former Wales front-rower Adam Jones will be officially hanging up his playing boots at the end of the season to concentrate on a full-time coaching role with the London club.
The British and Irish Lion and four-time Six Nations winner with Wales has been appointed as Assistant Forwards Coach at The Stoop and will work alongside Forwards Coach Graham Rowntree. Full story
