Northland vs North Harbour
North Harbour then beat an inform Northland side 22-31 to remain the only unbeaten side in this season.
Harbour have a tough run of matches coming up including Canterbury this Saturday, Northland face Manawatu on Friday.
Southland vs Auckland
Auckland had to work hard for only their second win of the season as Southland dominated the visitors at lineout time.
All Blacks Jerome Kaino and Patrick Tuipulotu starred for Auckland as they won the match 17-27.
Auckland will be without Kaino and Tuipulotu in their next match when they face
Taranaki vs Bay of Plenty
Taranaki showed why they are in third place in the Premiership with their 29-7 win over Bay of Plenty.
Naki were exceptional on attacking scoring two tries from behind their own try line.
Taranaki will face Hawke's Bay in their match, while the Bay will host Southland and Counties in the next round.
Waikato vs Manawatu
Manawatu got a win over a Premiership side after a dominant 2nd half lead by veteran Jamie Booth who directed his team and dictated play.
Waikato fell away at the end as they were completely shut out in the 2nd half. Full-time score: 10-23
Otago vs Tasman
The Tasman Makos edged Otago 29-27. The sides traded early penalties before Tasman crossed for two quick tries to lead 15-3. Otago managed to score two tries inside the final 10 minutes to set up a tense finish, but Tasman survived the fightback to hold on for a two-point victory.
Counties Manukau vs Hawke's Bay
Tim Nanai-Williams starred as Counties Manukau scored 5 tries en-route to an impressive 33-14 victory over Hawke's Bay. Counties will face off against the Bay on Sunday, while Hawke's Bay will host Taranaki on Saturday.
Wellington vs Canterbury
