Mitre 10 Cup HIGHLIGHTS: Otago v Canterbury

Another strong performance by Canterbury as they claimed their 13th consecutive win over Otago. The visitors scored their first try of the match inside the first three minutes of the game when George Bridge finished off a great team try. Otago hit back with two penalties before Phil Burleigh scored another try for Canterbury. Michael Collins got one back for Otago inside the first 20 minutes but Canterbury scored two late first half tries to lead 13-26 at the break. Josh Ioane scored an early second half try but Canterbury hit with three consecutive tries to take a 27 point lead into the final 10 minutes of play. Jona Nareki scored a fantastic try inside the final 5 minutes of the game but Otago was unable to score another for a try point. Full Time: Otago 25-47 Canterbury
