Mbonambi to head to Quins?

Rumours are circulating around a possible move for Springbok and Stormers hooker Bongi Mbonambi to Harlequins as the London-based club looks to replace Scott Baldwin who announced a move to Worcester Warriors some weeks back.

Mbonambi has an impressive CV, having been a key member of the World Cup-winning Springbok side while having notched up a total of 36 test caps.

Mbonambi has reportedly been in high demand of late – Jake White and the Bulls were apparently keen on luring the 30 year-old back to Pretoria in 2020 while last December Stormers head coach John Dobson admitted that Harlequins were after a few of their [Stormers] forwards.
