Leinster comfortably crusied to an bonus point victory in round 1 of the Champions Cup against Montpellier in France.
Leinster scored five tries to Montpellier's one, in a rather one sided and routine match at the Altrad Stadium.
Josh van der Flier got Leinster off to a 'Flyer' as he opened the scoring in the corner after fur minutes. Ciaran Frawley and Dave Kearney also touched down as Leinster took a comfortable 20-6 lead into half time,
Montpellier chased the game at the start of the second half and even though they improved slightly, Leinster wrapped up the bonus point after 68 minutes through Dan Leavy.
Montpellier did manage to get on the board late through Gabriel N’gandebe.
The home side sniffed a potential losing bonus point, but as they pressed, Leinster managed to get the final say as Jimmy O Brien scored Leinsters five try to end any hope for Montpellier.
