Ealing Trailfinders can reveal that Lewis Jones has signed an extension to his contract, meaning he will remain at the club for the 2019/20 season.
The centre is currently in his third year at the West Londoners after initially joining from Leeds Beckett University following a successful stint in the 2015 BUCS Tournament.
He was previously in the Northampton Saints Academy where he developed as a teenager and also had a spell with England Sevens in Dubai.
Jones has featured for the Trailfinders on 44 occasions and at just 23 years of age he still has his best years ahead of him as well as plenty of experience already, including the 2018 British and Irish Cup triumph.
In recent weeks he has been in fine form, crossing the try-line in the wins over Yorkshire Carnegie and the Championship Cup Quarter Final against Nottingham where he picked up the Harrison’s Man of the Match Award.
This season he has played eight times and is enjoying plenty of competition for places in the midfield with the likes of Guy Armitage, Harry Sloan and Pat Howard.
