Leinster injury update ahead of Munster clash
- 2126
Prominent Leinster backline players James Lowe and Garry Ringrose have been cleared to return to the training pitch, although it is unlikely that they will be picked by Leo Cullen to return to full action just yet, even with the massive fixture of Munster at Thomnd Park on the horizon.
Against Northampton last month, Ringrose reaggravated the jaw injury he picked up while playing for Ireland in October while Lowe has not played since Ireland’s Autumn Nations Cup match against England in November, wherein the winger damaged his groin.
Meanwhile, on a further positive note, Sean Cronin and Ciaran Frawley appear to have recovered from their respective knee and back injuries and should be in the thick of it soon.
Tadhg Furlong, Rory O'Loughlin and Scott Penny, however, are not yet in good enough nick to warrant a return just yet.
