Le Roux to rest for Cheetahs

Le Roux will be rested according to the agreement with SA Rugby, and his place will be taken by Coenie van Wyk, who joined the Cheetahs from the Pumas at the end of last season.


Le Roux has experienced a bit of a slump in his game of late, mirroring that of the Cheetahs on tour, but still remains the Bok incumbent with his versatility and unpredictable play.


But it is clear he could use a rest, and hopefully this, coupled with being back home in Bloemfontein, will buoy the bearded fullback back into his regular superb form that we have become accustomed to over the years.
