Last time the Boks faced England at HQ

South Africa may have claimed a 2-1 series win over England in June this year but it was a different story when the last time the two sides met at Twickenham in 2016.

England ran out 37-21 victors over South Africa in the clash in. England's discipline in the first 20 minutes was poor but after that they vastly improved and South Africa were unable to keep up with them as they accelerated through the gears.

The kicking from play by George Ford was fantastic as he regularly pegged back South Africa preventing them from ever really getting into the game.

England were very clinical in attack taking all the chances they created for themselves. Farrell was also phenomenal from the tee recording 6/7 successful kicks as well as scoring a try. Joe Launchbury earned the man of the match award for his Trojan efforts at the breakdown and with the ball in hand.

Jonny May, Courtney Lawes, George Ford and Owen Farrell all scored tries for the home side while Johan Goosen and Willie Le Roux scored for the Springboks.
