La Rochelle Season Review
- 1046
The table-topping La Rochelle have been clinical this season winning 17 of their 25 matches.
After a fantastic season the only thing that the management will be concerned about is that they drew 3 matches throughout the season, 2 of those teams were fellow semi-finalists Toulon and Clermont.
La Rochelle will have the freedom to decide to rest key players in the final round of the Top 14 as they have cemented their spot at the top of the log. They do, however, face a tough opposition in Clermont who will be looking to secure a home semi-final against Montepellier.
Brock James and Zack Holmes have been key figures in the La Rochelle team this season with both players exceeding the 100 point mark. Gabriel LaCroix has also been impressive scoring 10 tries in his 17 matches this season.
Despite La Rochelle not having the star-studded line-up compared to the other Top 14 sides, they have been particularly good this season, under head coach Patrice Collazo.
They have improved magnificently compared to last season where they were only able to pick up 54 points - they currently have 84.
