La Rochelle progress to the Top 14 Semi-Final

La Rochelle will face Toulouse in the 1st Top 14 semi-final on Friday 21 June after beating RC Toulon in their Barrage match.

Toulon had 62% possession and 65% territory but that was not enough to book them a place in the semi-final.

It was La Rochelle's defence that won them the match. They made 159 tackles, 36 coming from Jegou(18) and Alldritt(18). 

Toulon won 99 rucks while La Rochelle only 39.

Hastoy was the standout player for La Rochelle, Scoring a try, kicking 4 conversions 2 penalties.

Bordeaux takes on Racing 92 tonight to see who will play Stade Francais in the 2nd semi-final(Sat 22 June).

Grenoble will try to knock Montpellier out of the Top 14 in their promotion/relegation match later today.
