Ealing Trailfinders have announced the signing of Jordan Onojaife from Northampton Saints on a two-year contract.
The second-rower is a highly exciting prospect and brings a huge amount of potential to Vallis Way to add further depth to the pack.
Onojaife spent five seasons at Franklin’s Gardens, featuring for their first team on a number of occasions as well as being a crucial figure in their A-League side.
The 22-year-old moved to Dubai with his family at the age of 13, and it was in the Middle East that he started playing rugby at Jumeirah College.
He then joined the Northampton Saints Academy and moved through the ranks, most notably as a member of their Aviva Premiership winning squad in 2014.
Onojaife has plenty of experience despite his youthful age, featuring on loan for Rotherham and Moseley as well as more recently Bedford Blues where he put in an impressive display against Ealing Trailfinders in December at Goldington Road.
The 6ft 5in lock has also had success at international level, in 2013 he became a European champion with the England Under-18s before being called up to the Under-20 squad for the 2013 Junior World Championship in New Zealand.
