Joaquín Díaz Bonilla will play in South Africa. The 32-year-old has signed for the Sharks, a former Super Rugby franchise that now competes in the United Rugby Championship. In doing so, Díaz Bonilla will play for a fourth professional team in a fourth league and in a fourth country.
Díaz Bonilla was Los Jaguares’ starting fly half in the 2019 Super Rugby final. He has a strong season of Super Rugby but ultimately missed out on selection for RWC 2019.
Looking for cover during the tournament, Racing 92 signed Díaz Bonilla as a medical joker. It was followed by a return to Los Jaguares and then a move to England to join the Leicester Tigers. Full story via americasrugbynews
