Jaco Kriel returns to Super Rugby

Following stints with the Kubota Spears and Gloucester Rugby, Jaco Kriel has re-joined the Lions on a three-year deal.

The Springboks flank was on the Lions' books between 2010 and 2018, before joining Gloucester at the end of the 2018 Super Rugby season.
His time at Kingsholm was limited to just 16 appearances due to injuries and he will hope to re-ignite his career in Johannesburg.

The 30-year-old was a star performer during his time at the Lions, making three consecutive Super Rugby finals between 2016 and 2018.
He also played 11 Tests for the Springboks following his debut off the bench in South Africa's 19-13 victory over Ireland in 2016.
