Men’s and women’s “Selecciónes Cafeteros” (Columbia’s national XVs development teams) travelled to San Cristobal in Venezuela where they played “Los Bravos” (Venezuela’s equivalent) in two shortened games. On Friday 21st the Columbian women won 30-0, and in Sunday they won again 25-5.
Further games for the Columbian teams are planned for January against Ecuador, and in February against Panama.
To date the only South American team to play a full test match was Brazil, who lost 10-0 to the Netherlands in Amsterdam in 2008.
