Ian Foster not worried about All Black form
- 2022
All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster is confident that the squad are in a good place ahead of their final group game.
The defending champions have picked up wins over Argentina, Namibia and Georgia, with Tonga the only opponents left.
"It's our last round-robin game, we're three out of three, we just want to keep growing and getting better and better.
"We've done the job to date and now is the time to be building. Making small steps of improvement across a whole range of areas.
"We're in a really good spot. We've had three tests, each with different challenges in them. We're in a tournament where we had a job to do and we've done the job and we know there are some areas that have been clearly identified by us where we just have to keep getting better at. But this group, when they focus hard on something, they can make adjustments pretty quick.
"We're learning well, we're adapting and we're still chasing the game that we really want to get to and that's not a bad spot to be in.”
