Highlights: Ulster v Connacht

Ulster ran out 16-8 victors over Connacht in tonight's PRO14 clash at The Kingspan Stadium. Both sides got off to slow starts with the game remaining scoreless until John Cooney broke the deadlock in the 29th minute with a well taken penalty. Connacht quickly hit back with a try through Tom McCartney to leave the half time score at 5-3. In the early stages of the second half both sides exchanges penalties before Jacob Stockdale crossed the whitewash to finish off a simply stunning try which proved to be the last scoring action of the game. Ulster will be delighted to have bounced back to winning ways after last week's disappointing defeat to Zebre. Connacht will be bitterly disappointed to have suffered their fourth defeat on the spin.
