HIGHLIGHTS: Northland v Waikato

Northland thrashed Waikato 37-7 in a one sided encounter in round 4 of the Mitre 10 Cup. The hosts crossed for two first half tries and slotted two successful penalties to take an 18-0 lead into the break. A further two tries followed for Northland as they took the game away from Waikato, who could only manage a late consolation score. But it would be Northland who would finish with a flourish as they ran in their fifth try of the match with the last play of the game to wrap up a resounding victory.
