The Bulls bagged their second try, but the Reds would have the final say of the half with a late score closing the gap to 14-10 at the break. The Reds crossed for an early second half try to hit the front for the first time in the match at 17-14. The Reds were dominating both territory and possession and had the edge at scrum time, but it was only with 5 minutes to play that they extended their lead with a penalty to 20-14. The Bulls had a late chance to steal it, but it was not to be as the Reds made it two wins in a row.
