Harlequins Confirm 2024/25 Men’s Squad

Harlequins have today confirmed the senior men’s squad for the 2024/25 season.

Competing in the Gallagher Premiership, Investec Champions Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup, the senior squad consists of 39 Senior players and 35 Academy players. More than 60% of the squad are products of the Harlequins Academy.

The senior squad has been strengthened by the arrival of four new signings, Leigh Halfpenny, Rodrigo Isgro, Wyn Jones and Titi Lamositele. The Academy has been bolstered by four new first-year players, Jamie Miller, Jimmy Staples, Ollie Streeter and Lucas Friday, alongside four England U20 World Championship winners, Josh Bellamy, Lucas Friday, Sean Kerr and Ben Waghorn.

Director of Rugby Billy Millard commented: “Heading into the new season we’re really pleased with our squad and the depth we have available amongst our group. We have maintained the core of our squad from last season and added some significant international experience. Our Academy also continues to impress with an exciting group of players developing strongly within our senior programme.

“Having depth in our squad is crucial and we’ve been pleased with the input of our whole squad this preseason, with the matches against Montpellier and London Scottish showcasing the exciting talent we have in our ranks and the improvement they continue to make.”

The Club can also confirm a large proportion of the squad are undertaking full-time education as part of their playing career, with support and guidance from Harlequins. Players are completing courses at various institutions, including University of Surrey in Guildford, University of Exeter, University of Bath and Cambridge University. The squad includes four university scholars for the 2024/25 season, James Hodgson, Mattias Woollard, Raff Hollister and Guy Rogers.

Harlequins commence their Gallagher Premiership season against Sale Sharks on Sunday 22 September, before hosting Newcastle Falcons at The Stoop on Saturday 28 September (tickets here).
