Harlequins captain Joe Marler a natural-born leader, says Conor O'Shea ahead of opener with London Irish

Joe Marler once ran out at Twickenham sporting a Mohican haircut branded with
the name of the Jolly Hogg sausage company run by Harlequins team-mate Olly
Kohn.




On Saturday afternoon he will run down the tunnel to face London Irish as
Quins captain, heir to a tradition that stretches back through generations
of City types and buttoned-up former RFU presidents.




Marler is in distinguished company.

But then so are they, for much as Marler
has been cast as a pantomime villain, his CV replete with fiery,
ill-disciplined incidents, he has also proven himself to be a rug…
