Bath fly-half Adam Hastings will join Glasgow Warriors for the 2017/18 season.
The 20-year-old will return to his native Scotland after two seasons with the Bath Rugby Academy, having made 15 appearances to date for the senior team.
Hastings has also represented Scotland through the age groups and is the third Hastings to represent Scotland, following in the footsteps of his father Gavin and uncle Scott.
“This wasn’t an easy decision for me to make,” commented Hastings. “I’ve had a fantastic two years here at Bath, and really developed as a player in that time. There’s a really great atmosphere in the squad, which is tough to leave, however I feel I need to take this next step to continue improving and getting regular game time.”
"I'm excited about working under Dave Rennie as I've heard he is a world class coach"
Todd Blackadder, Director of Rugby at Bath, added: “We’re really sad to see Adam go – he’s a hugely promising young talent, and a great character to have around the squad. We totally understand his decision though and understand his desire for more game time, and wish him all the best at Glasgow next season.”
