Glasgow Warriors have announced that scrumhalf Sean Kennedy has placed his signature on a new contract with the club after impressing so far in 2020-21.
The length of the contract is currently unknown, but the Stirling native is the third player to extend his stay with Glasgow after the recent Scott Cummings and Tom Gordon announcements.
“Glasgow Warriors can confirm that Sean Kennedy has agreed to a new deal that will see him remain at the club for the foreseeable future, having impressed on a short-term deal so far in 2020/21,” a statement from the club read.
It is the 29 year-old Kennedy’s second stint with Glasgow after he turned out for them during the 2012-13 season. He has since spent the last eight years in the colours of Edinburgh.
Glasgow coach, Danny Wilson, said:
“Sean has been a real asset to us this season. He’s impressed when on the field - controlling the game well and driving the players around the park.”
