The other friday night game produced a bit of a shock.
Sale Sharks hosted Bath, who have struggled to reproduce last seasons form.
After a cagey first 25 minutes, when the scores were level, Bath exploded in the final 15 minutes of the first half to take a 14 point lead into half time, thanks to tries from De Glanville, Dunn T & Bayliss.
The second half, saw Bath just ride the wave and defend well to keep Sale at bay, despite allowing the home side to seal a losing bonus point at the death, thanks to Cameron Neild.
Saturday didn't dish up any major shocks but did give us an entertaining game, when Harlequins beat Leicester Tigers 37-24.
A very entertaining first half dished up 47 points as Harlequins scored three tries from Brown, Smith & Esterhuizen. Marcus Smith scoring 20 points.
The second half had less scoring but didn't lack action. Both teams went down to 14 men at the start of the second half. Symons and Liebenberg going to the bin.
Both teams scored a converted try each, but the damage was done in the first half by Harlequins as they secure 4th place on the table.
The last fixture for Saturday, saw defending champions Exeter Chiefs routinely beat London Irish at Sandy Park.
Exeter got off to a flying start as Sam Simmons scored after just three minutes. Exeter went to 14 points after 15 minutes, but the half fizzled out as Exeter went into half time 14-3.
Alex Cuthbert scored Exeters 3rd try of the day before London Irish's mammoth task was ended when Motu Matu'u received a red card.
