In the first fixture of the night, Benetton Treviso secured a much needed 19-17 victory against the Newport Gwent Dragons.
Winger Angelo Esposito gave Treviso an early lead as he broke through for a try, with Hayward slotting the conversion. However, this lead was short-lived as Hallam Amos crossed over to score, with O'Brien leveling the scores. Paulo Fito's try was the final act of the half, giving Treviso a 14-10 lead.
Treviso continued their attack in the second half, scoring through Ludovica Nitoglia to gain a 19-10 lead. Cory Hill managed to go over for the Dragons, but it was a mere consolation for the visitors.
MOTM - Angelo Esposito.
elsewhere, the Ospreys managed to claim a vital 27-13 victory against play-off hopefuls Edinburgh at the Liberty Stadium.
Edinburgh claimed first blood, with Greig Tonks' attempt from goal in the opening minutes. Ospreys responded through Sam Davies to level the scores. Tonks went on to score a try of his own, breaking through Ospreys' defensive line and touching down underneath the posts. Again, Ospreys responded nearly instantly as the Welsh side powered over for the try through Sam Underhill. At half time, there was nothing separating the two sides.
Ospreys refused to let up after the interval, with Sam Davies slotting 3 attempts at goal and substitute Scott Otten barreling over for a try. The hosts were very clinical in the second half, managing to deny Edinburgh a single point while also racking up their own scores.
MOTM - Sam Davies
The final fixture of the night saw two Pro 12 giants battle it out, with the Glasgow Warriors edging a 27-24 victory against Munster.
With Glasgow setting their sights on a play-off spot, tonight was a must win for the reigning champions. The hosts showed their sign of intent early on gaining a 14-0 lead, with prop Sila Puafasi showing his strength as he powered over for two tries in quick succession within the opening ten minutes. However, Munster were not prepared to roll over and concede the victory, as the Irish province responded with two tries through Dave Kilcoyne and Keatley's kicking from the tee to take a 17-14 at half time.
Duncan Weir registered the first score of the second half with a superb solo effort try. After a quiet 20 minutes, Munster eventually reacted, with substitute hooker Mike Sherry going over in the corner off of a well worked maul. Keatley's conversion gave the Irish province a 2 point lead with 15 minutes left on the clock. Unfortunately for Munster, Glasgow were not finished as they capitalised off of James Cronin's sending off. Glenn Bryce took full advantage of the extra man as he spotted the overlap and scored the decisive try with ease.
