France claim Rugby Europe Women’s Sevens title

France claimed the first leg of the Rugby Europe Women’s Sevens Grand Prix in Kazan’s Central Stadium with a thrilling 22-12 victory over Russia in Sunday’s Cup final. France led from the outset taking a well-deserved lead through centre Shannon Izar, who scored her sixth try of the competition.
