France call Toulan duo Bastareaud and Chiocci

Mathieu Bastareaud and Xavier Chiocci have been called into the France squad for the Six Nations as injury replacements for Henry Chavancy and  Eddy Ben Arous respectively.

Bastareaud, a 120kg human battering ram, is known for his bone crushing tackles and bull dosing carries will added some real physicality to les Bleus.

He will also bring some exprience with 39 test caps to his name along with 3 tries. Bastareaud will be eager to add to his tries tally when given the chance and may even secure the blue 12 jersey.

Chiocci on the other hand will look to take this opportunity to add to his 14 test caps, the 26 year old Toulan prop will be no push over in the 6 Nations weighing in at about 120kg he could spell trouble for the oppositions scrum.
