As England and France gear up for their final acts of the 2022 Six Nations, we take a look at their previous 5 encounters.
France will have some extra jitters ahead of kick-off as they stand on the verge of attaining the coveted Grand Slam as they have marched through Rounds 1-4 unbeaten. England, on the other hand, have come up short twice in their campaign and, at best, can hope for a third-place finish overall.
The first game we look at is from 2018 and played out at the same venue scheduled to host this weekend’s clash. A typically fierce contest which was taken, in the end, by Les Bleus after nearly 84 minutes of play:

Recent results between these two adversaries strongly allude to a significant advantage for the home side – a notion that bodes well for the French but not for England this weekend. Regardless, the rugby on display has been of a fantastic standard and the same will be expected for Saturday.
