The quartet of Louis Bielle-Biarrey, Tommaso Menoncello, Tommy Freeman and Blair Kinghorn has been shortlisted for the individual accolade, having been selected by the highest amount of people in the fan vote for the Guinness Team of the Championship
LOUIS BIELLE-BIARREY (FRANCE, BORDEAUX BÈGLES)
The 21-year-old winger scored eight tries this year – the record for a player in any edition of the Championship, overtaking Jacob Stockdale’s tally of seven in 2018.
Bielle-Biarrey also assisted four tries, with his 12 try involvements being the most of any player in the Guinness Men’s Six Nations. No other player has recorded more than nine in a campaign, with Antoine Dupont (two tries, seven assists) also reaching that tally this year (also Jonny Wilkinson in 2001, Will Greenwood in 2002, George Ford in 2015).
TOMMASO MENONCELLO (ITALY, BENETTON)
Last year’s Guinness Player of the Championship picked up where he left off from in 2024. The centre scored twice in this year’s campaign, and carried for over 320 metres.
Menoncello made more breakdown steals (three) and tackles (59) than any other back in the competition, underlining his prowess as a dual threat across the park.
TOMMY FREEMAN (ENGLAND, NORTHAMPTON)
Like Bielle-Biarrey, wing Freeman scored a try in all five rounds in this year’s campaign – a feat that hadn’t been achieved since Philippe Bernat-Salles in 2001.
Freeman also ranked second across all the teams for line breaks (eight) as he helped England to their best finish in the Championship table since 2019.
BLAIR KINGHORN (SCOTLAND, TOULOUSE)
Fullback Kinghorn gained a staggering 580 metres in this year’s Championship – over 200 more than the second-placed player, Marcus Smith – which is the highest tally by any player in a single edition of the Championship, overtaking Mike Brown’s record of 543 metres in 2014.
The 28-year-old was top for carries (86 - 33 more than second-placed Ben Earl), line breaks (nine) and offloads (13).
