Filise one of six Blues to sign new contracts

Cardiff Blues have confirmed that regional stalwart Taufa’ao Filise has penned a new one-year deal.

The Tongan tight-head arrived at Cardiff Arms Park in 2006 and quickly established himself as a cornerstone of the pack.

 
He has already made 241 appearances for the region, more than anyone else, and is now embarking on his 12^th season in the capital.

 
Brad Thyer, Matthew Rees, Scott Andrews, Anton Peikrishvili and Lewis Jones have also agreed new deals completing the 2017-18 squad.
