Exeter bring back Patrick Phibbs

Exeter have re-signed scrum-half Patrick Phibbs as injury cover for Dave Lewis and Haydn Thomas.



Phibbs played for Exeter three years ago and has since had spells with Leicester and London Irish.

He has been back at Sandy Park on trial and has been rewarded with a short-term deal.



"He's a good player, he's someone we like and we've seen him before so we're quite comfortable to get him down here," Baxter said of Phibbs.

"He's very aware he hasn't played that much recently so we have to get him up to speed and give him opportunities in training and the A League and see how he goes.
